Tagines & Tangia

When I saw this beautiful black Tagine in the store here in the USA,

I said to myself "I will buy this Tajine whatever it costs", I admit that it

was expensive ($65), if we compare this price with our Tagines of Morocco (1st picture), they cost not more than $10, sometimes 3$ .
Its construction is not the same as a normal Tagine that everybody knows, the bottom is a heavy frying pan, a kind of Tefal (which does not burn), in my opinion that's what makes this Tagine special.
Today, I prepared a beef tagine with fava beans, I did not find fresh ones, so I bought them frozen which I found in an Asian store
.

I love Tagines !

They remind me of Morocco, when we travel from

onecity to the next, we have breaks in cafes and restaurants

which are everywhere on the roads of Morocco, they offer all

kinds of Moroccan specialties : tagines, couscous, mechoui

( grilled meat), Moroccan tea with mint...

 

I present you one of several varieties of Moroccan

tagines today. A tagine of meat ( you can use beef, lamb,

or chicken ), prepared with squash called Slaoui.

Hi friends,
I present you a Tagine recipe which is a little different

to other recipes of Tagines which I have already prepared.

It does not contain a lot of spices, this time I exchanged

the spices for a broth, the result was excellent, I hope that

you like the recipe, it is really delicious.
