 Zlabia الزلابية is the reference cake of Ramadan.

Zlabia is a delicious cake, appreciated by everyone 

(the favorite cake of my husband),

it has the form of crunchy spiral, with 

yellow-orangy branches filled with some honey.

 What are the ingredients of Zlabia? Simply 

flour, yeast and water. You can add a color to it 

last minute to give it a color between yellow 

and orange.

After that Zlabias is fried, we dip it

in some honey with a flavor of orange blossom

made with sesame seeds, grilled almonds and

the flour which is baked in the oven.
