karantika oujda

The calentica or karantika, كرنتيكا in Arabic,

made with  chickpeas flour, it is consumed

preferably hot, and often sold by street vendors in

especially major cities in northern Morocco.

Ingredients

4 eggs

1 cup veg oil

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 tsp turmeric

1 onion

2 garlic cloves

2 cups  chickpea flour

8 cups water
